Flying and connections to Hamilton

It is usually the most convenient to fly into Toronto's Pearson International Airport (airport code: YYZ)

From Toronto's Pearson airport to Hamilton: If you want, you can rent an automobile to drive to Hamilton. Rather than rent an auto, you can arrange a limousine ride from Airways Transit (905-689-4460). For two or more persons, a taxi can be less expensive and more convenient, but please be sure to confirm the flat rate one-way before starting the taxi ride. A taxi or Airways Transit is convenient because you will NOT need the automobile if you stay at the Sheraton or Plaza Hamilton; the meetings and dinner are a short walk from these hotels. If you do use Airways Transit, please schedule your return trip also, because they are not very flexible at the last minute.

Hamilton airport (YHM) is convenient when flying from the few cities that have service (currently Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa). You can take a cab to the hotel or rent an automobile. The drive is about 10 minutes.

An alternative is to fly to Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) and drive (about 1.5 hours), but this takes longer, and the drive is more complicated. You must rent an auto if you fly to Buffalo. We recommend this only if you are familiar with the area, and the flight is at a much lower cost.
